DAY TEN
Thus far it is mostly a day of writing so little has been done. I did get the daffodils finished though and I am happy with them and the Ivy bush even though it is not detailed. Detailing it would distract.
I have reached a point where I am wanting to call this painting finished and move on to something, anything else. I know that it is not done though so I am resisting that impulse. Of course, we are supposed to trust our instincts also.

I put a thin blue glaze over the ground at Salome's feet. It maybe ought to have been more yellow that I added but blue, I thought, was a balancer against the heavy and dominant sky.
For now, I am calling it done and I sit back to wonder what I can paint now. Before and After the return to it..
