It is determined that the campaign will be conducted by the rules of war laid down in the manual of arms: Triumph and Tragedy . All players may have up to three colonial units (two capable and 1 non-combat or incompetent) and for each unit that they field, they are expected to provide at least 30 Zulus for opposition. Infantry and cavalry units for the Colonial Powers are 6-10 figures. Zulu impis range from 12-20. Figures are individually mounted but some form of movement tray can be used. As well, each colonial force is entitled to one Hero figure.

More information will follow, but players should provide cards for each of their unit with the stats on them. Also, they should have a personal set of cards for the 10 turn options (move, move & fire, charge etc - more info to follow). These cards do not need to be in any regular size as they are not mixed with others.
